Accessibility statement

I want this site to work for everyone, whatever they browse with. Accessibility here is treated as ongoing rather than a box ticked once. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

In practice that means

• Clean, semantic HTML with a logical heading order, so screen readers can navigate
• Full keyboard navigation, including a skip-to-content link and the contact form
• Text alternatives for images that carry meaning
• Colour contrast that meets AA for text
• Text that scales with zoom and reflows cleanly on small screens
• Nothing that autoplays, flashes or moves

Where it falls short

This is a small, hand-built site, reviewed against these guidelines rather than formally audited. The odd styling detail may not be perfect across every browser and assistive-technology combination, and because the site is updated regularly, an occasional issue can slip in. I keep working at it.
